Just a few thoughts that came to me on the tram. Inspired by all the haiku I saw lately.

I've got a bit of coldwater fear posting stuff. Have been writing, but when I then proceed to post it, it seems to fade and I start all over again.

But I have sharpened a birthday present Jip & Janneke pencil, I'm pretty sure that'll help. ^^

this impressed me. i enjoy how you put all these notions together. every stanza feels like alone entity but together they create a whole picture like pieces of puzzle. i think it's a great composition, i can sense all those stops and continuing journey. well done! :D

I'm quite sure the pencil is the key^_^

I like the motion in and behind the series of observations.
Each is lovely in its own right. I especially like three and six. Nicely done.
An inner city Haiku chain.

Well done.

Each haiku a self contained moment, as each should be. For me the effect is accumulative, I can't single any particular link out.

There's always a better poem just out of reach.

Words create situations

The roots of the future run deep

post-script

mere words can
transcend meaning
(what you think, and write, and say).
haiku becomes
a mantra becomes
the pattern for your day.

Thanks a lot!

I wasn't too sure about posting it here, so I'm extra glad you like it.

And miles from where you are
I lay down on the cold ground

Thanks a lot.

Pencils are always the key. Pencils, and the exact right notebook.

Haiku isn't really supoosed to be about city life, is it? But I don't really mind.

Thanks for the nice comment!
