WINTER OF DISCONTENT
In this dark season of winter,
life had completely lost reason for me,
For which or against to decide.do I live
or do I die
I am lost in a savage and endless,
rolling bleak tide
In my sadness and within my kindness
my light was switched off and in darkness.
I was left to mourn, with no thought of hope
In a winding hurricane, I was left with lies
Made of treachery and sorrow.
There was a pain in my heart, and an endless,
and colossal spear,
Piercing, slashing through my head.
Starting somewhere in heaven,
Ending somewhere in hell.

Winter
All is quiet, not a single sound.
The world is pure, crystalline and resting. God's creatures sleep in the dead silence.
It is a time of death, a time of goodbyes, a time of moving on.
But it is also a time of cheer; people gather, laughing, giving.
Celebrating Jesus Christ; remembering Israelites.
The world is renewing, readying itself for a new year.

In a muddled pile
Out of the way
While her eyes sang songs of Summer,
Her heart was in Winter’s hold.
Her lips looked the red of Autumn
And her hair Spring’s spun gold.
A happy girl was she indeed
Helping everyone in need
To make them smile
And make them forget
