                                         Jag trivs bäst på öppna landskap
                                         nära havet vill jag bo

I feel best in open spaces
where the horizon is just the gradual blending
of land and air -
a fade out of color, of existence,
a fade away of earthly sorrow
and heavenly bliss.
I want to spread my arms and close my eyes
and dance barefoot in the snow
and never touch a thing.

The last few lines end this piece beautifully, but the whole imagery of the poem is also well done.
